Cinematic Livestream

Year2022CHARLESTON, SCVerticalNonprofitCapabilitiesVideo · Audio · Production

A cinematic livestream for a client - multi-camera video, studio-mixed audio, and a purpose-built production suite.

The client, a house of worship, had a livestream that was hard to operate and looked the part of an afterthought. They wanted more: a stream that could archive services, reach casual viewers, and genuinely engage an online congregation week after week.

We designed a cinema-camera broadcast built on Blackmagic Pocket 6Ks and ATEM switching, and converted a room behind the sanctuary into a dedicated production suite. Hardwired SDI runs through the attic and under the slab keep every feed rock solid. On the audio side, we placed the console on a Dante network and mix the broadcast in a DAW with studio plugins, giving the stream a produced, polished sound.

The stream went from utility to destination. Services archive cleanly, the online congregation gets a cinematic picture with studio-grade audio, and the client keeps building on the system.
